Angelfish/Tang/Others Sensitivity to FW Dipping

I'm about to do an every-seven-days treatment on my fish for fluke infection. I'm wondering how dwarf angelfish such as joculators, large angel such as bandit, tangs such as achilles, purple, moorish idol, fire fish, and wrasse react to a 5-min FW dipping. My experience with FW dipping is very limited and I don't want to make any mistake. So please share your experience with FW dipping marine fish. Any experiences are appreciated!

Thanks!

I mean your putting a saltwater fish into freshwater so it's stressful no matter what. Formalin like I suggested in your other thread is also stressful, but then again so are flukes on the fish. You have to do whatever you have to do to get the fish clean. Whether thats formalin or freshwater dipping its your choice. alton freshwater dips all of his fish when they arrive and has done it to several regal angels without much in the way of negative results. You just shorten the dip if the fish looks stressed. You could pm alton, can be found under the regal angel primer

Thanks for the info. I will open a new thread sometime before starting to dose paraguard and I will log everything about the process and potentially hypo afterwards so other people may get another reference when they are treating flukes.
