Angels in an sps tank with clams

Have had this Red Sea Regal almost 6 months now. Fat and eats like a pig, appears very healthy. Has never nipped at my clam or any corals except a Zoa every now and then. (still keeping my fingers crossed though) They stay a little smaller than the Majastic you are considering too. Just make sure you hand pick yours to make sure you get a healthy one.

I am on this subject to, I love SPS, but I also love my zoas... I am really interested in getting either a Majestic or Red Sea Regal... just don't know if I would like to take the risk of waking up to my collector zoa's all gone ....

What type of angel is that? Is that pic altered in any way? She looks like she is going for your clam in that picture.. lol... do you have any zoo's?

1.That is my swallow tail.
2. Not altered other than cropping
3. She hasn't ever touched the Clam

this is the other Clam no damage.

we have a hybrid angel we got off liveaquaria. its the lemonpeel halfblack hybrid. I put her in a 20 to see how she would do with corals and she left them alone for the most part. She is now in our 90 with a few sps, a crocea clam, and an anemone. She nips at the rocks CONSTANTLY and every now and then she will quickly brush over an acro and go to nip, but never have i see her take out big chunks or ever really show interest in nipping at them. Just kinda picking through the rocks. Regardless, my sps dont seem to mind, they all are growing like crazy.

Sorry, I won't be much help to you there. I know very little about the Majestic Angels.

It will not eat frogspawn,orange or pink zoanthids,sps ,blassto,
Hammer ,Bubble,torch.

Your bellus angel fish is gorgeous. I think you made a good angel choice, but you may have gotten one of those 20% that is a bad tank mate. You might try another. I have a female Watanabe and a Imperator Juvenile angel. The Imperator is a nipper and grows fast. The watanabe is a very peaceful fish. It also hasn't grown much over the past year, maybe a 1/4 inch at the most - Awesome reef fish.
Some of the other large angels will outgrow your tank in one year. Not a good situation.
I never had good luck with the dwarf angels.
If its any consolation - I have a pyramid butterfly fish - it ate all my LSP and zoos while I was at work. I came home to see him spit out the last remains of my frogspawn. This reef safe butterfly ate almost $700 in corals. Now I have an SPS tank.
