Angry Six Line wrasse

One of my clownfish died recently. So I pick up an other one for the remaing clown. This new clown was smaller and as soon as I introduced the new clown, My Six Line started to chase it. I turned off the lights so everyone would go to sleep, which wokred. When the lights came on later in the day, I couldn't find the new clown. That's because it jumped out of the tank.

I was thinking of getting an other one. Does anyone have any tips for adding fish? I was thinking of putting the new fish in a clear contanier in the display so the six line can get to know the new fish. Any tips?

Get rid of the six line, they are evil.

Six lines are highly aggressive and territorial. If you want to add another clown you'll need to remove the wrasse.

I have a 6 line that I just cannot catch. I would love to get him out of the tank he is the bully and nips at corals. I have been holding off adding any fish because of this fish. Great looking fish but I will not have another.

You can put it in the sump for a few days but it really won't fix anything long term. It's a super aggressive fish and will stay that way. It will eventually kill almost anything else you add in its size range.
