Anoneme under a rock deflated.

I turned on my lights this morning and he inflated and then after a ciuple hours he went under a rock and deflated. When I got him friday I accumulated him then put him in and he got huge then moved under the rock. So in the morning he was still on that rock so I picked up the rock and put the side up he was on. He stayed there for 2 or 3 days and now he moved back under the rock deflated. I fed his mysis shrimo cuz thats all I got right now and he has most of it stuck to his tenticles. What is going on with him? I dont know if its too much water flow, too much light which I got 4 bulbs t5 light. Or cuz I bought cooked peeled wild caught shrimp or what the problem is.View attachment 275553

Mine seems unhappy more then happy. I've had him for two weeks. Your in for some stress if you're like me. Very interesting creatures. Sorry I have no info to help as I'm in the same boat!

it might be the flow. is there ay way to turn the powerheads away from where it is at or move the rock with the nem away from the flow?

I agree, it's probly not liking the flow directly on it; & adjusting to your lights. How long has your tank been running & what type of lights do you have?

I moved him to the other side where there is alot of flow. Theres no way to change it there gor thr flow comrs from my canister filter and protein skimmer

Hes behind a rock now but inflated. To me he looks like hes in to small of a space. I dont know if I should move the rock or what.

What lighting do you have & how long has your tank been running? It may be adjusting to the lights.

I have a BTA that looked good although a touch bleached when I got it then took to hiding for a week so. It came back out and for nearly two months never fully inflated and just kind of poked the tentacles out barely. Just in the last two weeks it has finally started inflating and stretching out a bit. It never looked sick, it just wouldn't inflate. It's looking better every day now

My suggestion is to stop moving y'all anemones. They'll choose a spot that they like, especially if you give them enough choices. Moving 'em all over will just unnecessarily stress them. Let them beeeeee.
