Well, I obtained a used 9015 from my LFS (ATD) and cleaned it up. Looks and seems to operate great. Ready for use except +++++______------- When you drop a part down the sink and then dismantle the trap and drain that trap into a container and as you are distracted by the fact of the BIG skimmer "decide" that the container needs to be "purged" down the toilet for disposal NOW!!!!! Well you get the picture.--------________======== I notice that the intake has a limiting slide on it.
Now I have heard of others with a 9015 had to keep the metering screw all the way out or out altogether to achieve a skim!
Would this door on the intake, which must control amount of GPH uptake have an impact on the skim versus screw position?
Any opinions?
