Another Acropora

Sorry for my nagging, but I hope you can help me with this one too.

This was imported as an Acropora Granulosa. But I'm not sure if it is.





 
IMO it looks to me like A. loripes and here's why I say this..
Certain growth forms of A. loripes grow branches that have radial coralites that only grow in two straight rows one opposite the other leaving the rest of the branch bare. This is a characteristic I have not seen in any other Acropora making this species very distinctive. This picture clearly illustrates what I am talking about...

That being said while I was looking at your pictures for clues I noticed this...

The branch that is forming ( in the center towards the bottom of the picture) as well as in other places on the coral has the beginnings of this characteristic.
Let me know what you think...
 
I think you're right. I also believe this is a Loripes. Beautiful deepwater coral indeed:) Thanks for the confirmation guys!
