Roman knows what performing in front of large crowds is like. I hear he was truly gifted in his other art form Skating

And Wayne is so goooood:wave:

Can you show a pic of the display tank? Can you also show a pic of the refugium? In the pic of the stand and tank, what is that below in the stand, can't see it since everything is black?

What did you use for your black background? Did you paint, use window tint, or something else?

For display tank I used black tint, for refugium I used very thin plastic sheets.

Which lens are you using in those pictures?

Leslie

Leslie, I'm using Canon 100mm macro lens.

Can you show a pic of the display tank? Can you also show a pic of the refugium?

I will take few more pictures in next few days.

Chiller.

Thank You and Happy Father's Day.

Very nice brother. Roman does some of the nicest fabricating, I have seen. As nice as anyone in the industry. We are lucky to have him here in the City.
Can I ask a question? Why the egg crate under the dsb? Thanks .

Time is for updates:D
New skimmer was delivered today:bounce2: courtesy of Edmond LFS.
Packaging is great, so skimmer is in one piece.

Skimmer is Reef Octopus 1000sss cone. It will replace Vortex in100. I will update in a few days about skimmer's performance.

And my picture of the week. "Please, don't eat me"

Nice skimmer! I've been eyeballing those or the SWC skimmers for my next upgrade to the tank. My skimmer and return pump are my two weakest links. I think the return can be helped out by ditching the needle wheel and putting on a real impeller. It just dawned on me today that the OR2500 return I'm using has their skimmer needle wheel impeller instead of the solid water mover. Please be sure to update us on the skimmer's performance over time. I'm very curious.

Nice system and skimmer...any updated full tank shots?

Also, how are you liking the new Hanna Phosphate Checker? Have you had pretty consistent readings?

Nice skimmer and small in sump. How many gallons is the skimmer rated for?

Thank you. Doug, I belive, that skimmer is rated for 125gal.

That's a nice looking skimmer. I do believe that's the skimmer I'm going to end up going with once I decide to order mine.

Yes, I like this skimmer more then Vertex. Vertex is good skimmer, great quality, but needs a different pump:mad:

looks good

Thank you

Dejavu, I got skimmer with or2500 with regular impeller:D no needle wheel. Also my mag7 needs to go. I'm looking in tunze or eheim return pump.

Thank you. Tim, no full tank shots. I wasn't really happy with rockwork, so I'm in process of redoing it right now. I dump Hanna Checker, at low PHO4 levels I couldn't get good readings. It was doing fine in higher levels >0.1.
