As soon as we have a total of 10 clams committed here we can start to order, we could order now but I don't want to risk having to pay for shipping if we don't get 10 asap... The clams will be first come first serve so please be willing to commit even if you might not get the clam you see available right now...

I sent Barry an email asking how we can do this, as well telling him the clams you and I want (4 total). I'm sure we just buy the clams and ignore the shipping charge (they manually charge) and just put comments that it's part of the SCMAS group buy... I'm just not sure how large of a window we can get. Stay tuned...

Yeah I'd love to get in on this also, I was looking at his new croceas yesterday, I saw a lot of nice ones for a great price. I would be willing to commit to atleast 1.
Heres how I think it would have to happen
A. we all get together at 1 persons house and click the buttons on the site and choose.
B. I say I want a teal, or bluse crocea, you pick the best one, I would trust your judgement, other than that the logistics would be tough, but like I say I'm game, and can hookup with you guys, just cant do thursday after 5p.m. or friday after 5p.m. everything else is wide open, including saturday.

Here's the instructions on Group Buy's from Barry...
GROUP ORDERS
We do group orders and when orders are over 10 clams then we provide FREE Shipping and container cost.
This is how to do it.
1. Have someone in your group willing to received the shipment and we recommend picking up at a FedEx facility in your area.
(I can do this if needed, unless someone else is available)
2. Log on to our online store and select the clam/s you want and in the details remark section, put what the name of our group/club.
3. Pay for your clam by CC and if you elect to pay for them by Pay Pal, indicate in the payment method, " Phone Order" and then pay for just the clams and then log on to your pay pal account and send to barry@clamsdirect.com If you are paying by CC, we will only charge your CC for the cost of the clams. So when you receive your order conformation, disregard what it says about the shipping and container cost as we will manually deduct that when we process your CC.
4. All bags will be marked with the clams ID # such as C-01.
5. Acclimate as soon as you can!!
6. Any loses must be reported to us with 24 hours after arrival. barry@clamsdirect.com or phone 619 593-0565

I looked up those auctions he was bidding on.
Dan I think you will be VERY disappointed looks to me like your buying ONE clam for 66 bucks(if that's the one the guy backed out on) and reserve not met on the 20 buck auction.
small bad pic and only 1 feedback...
Kinda a deceptive auction IMO, as he makes it look like you get 10 clams for your high bid, but its 1 clam for that bid according to some of his other auctions on the same 10 clams.
Dan you may want to ask the seller some questions
The way I see it if this is the case that it is for ONE clam, Ebay should let you out of the commitment as this was deciptive no where in the auction does it say you are bidding on ONE clam and the other 9 are available for the high bid price
I will stick with the C-D buy

Going with C.D. Doug has 2, I have 2, Eric has 2, Joe has 1, we still need 3 more... I've emailed Barry again to see if we can get a window until the 5th since that is the next available shipping unless we can get 10 by tonight and we all chip in a couple bucks for a Saturday delivery... Thoughts?
