another clown fish behavior question

I have two perculas. They were recently removed from my QT and placed in the DT this past Friday.

When I placed them in the DT, right to the bottom they went. I have seen them wonder around ever so slightly, but always remain back at the same spot.

I thought they would take to hiding in the rock that I have, but no such luck. They sit at the front of the tank, in the wide open, hugging the glass.

They eat fine, they get excited when they think it's feeding time and I approach the glass, but other than that, they don't stray from their spot. They have this whole tank of an ocean to them selves but don't tank advantage of it.

should I be worried, or just accept that's where they want to be?

I'm trying to post a picture but every time I approach the glass, they perk up and wiggle all around

will do.

i will say one has always acted a little off since getting "it". the one always seems to lie down or remain in one spot on the bottom of the tank. seems to do this every 5-10 seconds. then it will pop up and wiggle around, then go back to lying down. done this for over a month. but eats and everything normally. no major concern i guess. just always seems to do it

Same happen with mine, they hid in the bottom corner of the tank for the first week. Now they are all over the place and never sit still.

I don't want to stick flower pots in my tank. I do have ledges/pass-thru's they can hide in, but they have had no interest in that...yet

I'll wait to see what happens.

I'd do an anemone but my tank is not stable enough for that yet. Only been up and running with fish in it for a week now. Not quite ready

I have had a pair of juvenile ocellaris clownfish for over a month now. They normally frequent the corner of the tank where my rotating output is.

Just the other day one of them learned to host the colony of button polyps I have, and the other one learned shortly after. They now treat it like an anemone, sleeping in it and even bringing it food. I posted a topic with a pic in this same forum :)

Give it some time and they'll start to explore your tank.
