For those who haven't heard Chris McNeil, CMcNeil, has passed. Like many, he suffered from demons of his own creation and unfortunately lost the battle a few days ago. Son, brother, friend, hobbyist, employee and builder of things. As lead fabricator of i-TECH aquarium products, he was able to take my vision and turn them into physical reality. Although production stopped many years ago, much of his outstanding work is still being used today throughout the Tampa Bay Area and across the country.

Not much information has been released but his Facebook accounts are below,

I hope he now finds the peace which so often eluded him.

John I'm so sorry to hear this bad news that Chris McNeil passed. When I read of his passing this morning I was devistated. I'm so saddened by this news!

Chris you were a true and loyal friend, an innovator in the hobby and will be deeply missed. After I spoke with you a few weeks ago I prayed for your suffering to end. I only wish that the Lords plan was to heal you God bless. I am at peace knowing that you are with your mother now, I know you missed her terably!

Rest in Peace my friend

RIP Chris. Don't know him personally but have always love his contributions concerning plastic welding. So sad...:(

Sad to hear this. I liked hearing his perspective on the hobby and craftsmanship of the I Tech products he manufactured.

RIP Chris.

Good dude with a quirky sense of humor and always willing to lend a hand. Prayers out to the family and close loved ones.
