Another Interceptor?

So I started treating the tank today. I have a 200 gal tank with around 30 gal of water in the sump . I figure with all the rock I have I probably have 200gal. So I put in .5grams. I crushed it a fine as possible. then mixed with ro . It didn't seem to mix that welland I had particles floating around. From what I have read they say to leave it in for six hours. but I have also read that people have left it in for 24hours. which is the better time to leave it in before doing a 25% water change. how long should it take to see the little s.o.b's to stop running around? I have an idea of what to expect but I guess I'm looking for some reassurance that I did it right. thx.:blown:

Interceptor usually kills the bugs in 4-6 hrs. I have have left it in for days with no ill effects before doing a water change. I use an entire tablet for 230 gals or so of water.

I wish I used the entire pill. I weighed it out,put it in, and did a wc 6 hours later. I didn't see any rb's at lights out. The weired thing is I don't think I lost many If any of my hermit crabs. Oh well I will used the whole pill next round.

FYI, a whole pill will treat just under 400 gallons. The full recommended treatment course is 3 applications a week apart.
