I am in the process of setting up a DSA Neo 185 and would like to have a suspended canopy above it. Unfortunately I can't find anyone to build the canopy at this time. I wanted to install my current lighting array in this which includes 2 Luman Max 3 250 DE pendants and an Ice Cap 4 x 54W overdriven T-5 system. Since the tank will be ready before the lighting I'm forced to go a different route for a time.
Will a Tek T-5 fixture (8 x 54w) be able to sustain a tank this large (60"L x 30"W x 25"H) for any period of time? I know that one of the ATI Powermodules would be a better solution, but I don't have the funds for that type of fixture currently. Any other suggestions would be welcomed as well.
