another lighting question

Soft corals should do quite well with that fixture. A T5 setup with individual reflectors per bulb might be more efficient, though.

That's one vendor for the T5 systems. I use MH primarily now, so I really don't know much about shopping for PC or T5 at this point.

Bertoni, not to side-track this thread, but what bulbs do you use in your MH? 14K?

When I bought my pc fixture (coralife lunar aqualight) last year I got it from petsolutions.com. The price was equal or lower than anybody elses, and I know they will take things back if defective and send you new without a hassel. I am sure there are others that will do the same.

192 watts over a 40g should let you do most lps and softies with no problem. You may even be successful with some sps if you put it close enough to the light.
