My dosage for AEFW is 10ml in 1/2 cup of water and the frags are fine as long as you don't extend 5 minutes of dipping (I haven't tried longer because the flatworms are dead by then).
Give that a shot and see what happens. Nothing I've dipped at that strength has showed any signs of stress, so I think it is probably still a pretty mild dosage.
If you want all metric, move to great Britain.![]()
Fwiw, I tested some high strength b-cyfluthrin by itself and it had zero effect on AEFW.
So I bought the Bayer Advanced that is listed here in the thread. Not the Germ Killer, the other one. It does say concetrate also, it says on bottle that it covers up to 6000 sq. feet I think.
I used the .5ml to 2 cups of tank water dose. It was at night so the tank lights were off. I left the frags in the solution for 8 minutes. I woke up this morning and there were still red bugs on the frags!
So I made up another solution of 1ml to 2 cups and put the frags into it. About 5 minutes in, the red bugs were still on the frags. I tried lightly swishing the frags in the water, but they did not come off. So I added another .5ml of Bayer for the remaining 3 minutes.
The red bugs are still visible on the frags, even after they have received decent flow. I am not sure why they are still on frags as most here have said they fall off quickly.
Did I do something wrong?
WOW 10 ml per 2 cups?tat seems like an aweful lot of bayer.i was going to try 5 ml per 2 cups and i was even thinking of less then that
