Another PC lighting Question

I've run a search and read through some of the results.

I have a 120g tank, 48 x 24 x 24. I have 3 - 4 inches of sand on the bottom. My lighting is 520 watts of PC lighting. the lights are within 4 -5 inches of the water surface. I know T5 or MH is prefered but it's not what I have.

Do I have enough lights for a BTA? Any others that may be ok with this type of light?

I am not set on adding a 'nem. I'd like to have one, never tried before, but if I don't have the lighting I won't do it.

The only non cleanup crew inverts in the tank are some mushrooms that keep spawning. I gotta add some more since I started with just 1 type and have plenty of those right now.

Yes. Suggested reading: Be a Host to Your Anemone by Dr. Ron Shimek.

I hate to make a general comment but I believe that most of the others would do well with your lighting provided they were provided the appropriate habitat and food items and fed regularly. For the BTA, that means feeding approximately twice a week. BTA's will eat almost anything. That's not true for all of the host anemones.

I think you would be better off sticking with a BTA for your first anemone. Before venturing into any of the others, you should do some more research. I'm only comfortable comenting on BTAs.

Thanks alot. I plan to do a bit of research.

I'm just a bit hesitant since I'm kinda clueless what my lighting system would support and i have seen alot of posts with that much PC lighting on a 120.
