another red hornet thread lol

So a couple weeks ago at the lfs a saw this nice colony of pink zoes with a greenish mouth that i really liked, but didnt get them. Wednsday I was back in there and saw about 10-15 other zoas on the rock. Low and behold they looked just like red hornets so I bought it for 60 bucks.

I was just wondering if I should break off the piece with the hornets on them so the pink zoes cant take over? Or should I just leave them?

Had a false alarm before with another rock that I bought that had red hornets on fo 50 bucks, but after seeing these I knew they were hornets for sure. The other ones had the similar color pattern other than the skirt but the colors were just really dull. The ones on this new rock just popped with color so vibrant with the bright red skirt.
 
i Just have pns camera but ill still try to get a picture tonight when the lights come on. Just give me youre opinions of what you think they might be. I won't be dissapointed if they aren't true hornets, still look fantastic.

One thing I do like though is that the guy at my lfs doesn't buy into naming individual corals epecially zoas and chalices. Supposedly his supplier doesn't either. The closet thing he's given a name to identify a particular coral was a rainbow acan he had. I'm always in there talking about zoas names that he has or what they look like and he basically just rolls his eyes lol.
 
lol THat's funny. Wish I had a LFS around me like that. Usually it's the other way around. I see something, call it by the wrong name from a close look-a-like or god forgid, mispronounce it and I get the eyeroll. Hey, no problem learning or taking constructive criticism, but when my tanks & coral looks way better than his it does become a little patronizing. Great score BYW and I'm like you. One of my absolute favorite ZOAs in my tanks is a brillant yellow with orange center eagle eye. Pretty common/cheap but one of my absolute favorites. In fact, it was a freebie from a purchase from a semi local seller who I bought my blue hornets from. Imagine that. Paid big bucks for the hornets, but like the freebie better.
 
I tried taking pics with the camera i had just wasn't good enough. I'll try to borrow my brothers nice camera so I can get piscs soon. I'll post em up as soon as i can sorry.
