Another strange question...shrimp poo?

Just went upstairs to check on our new arrivals. 2 O. Clowns, 2 Margarita snails and a cleaner shrimp.
I was watching the clowns when I noticed 3-4 thick red "bubbles" floating around. They looked hollow inside and I've never seen them before. Could this be shrimp poo? They were about the size of a bb, maybe a little smaller.
I glanced over at our one turbo snail and I saw it had one of the bubbles in it's mouth. It put it's mouth down and back up again and the bubble was gone. It looked like it ate it.
The Chromis tried to eat the bubble, then spit it back out. The clowns checked it out and ignored it.
Any clue??

Pretty sure that's not it. When I first got the turbos, they were the only things in the tank. I saw a white smoky plume come out of the biggest one within a half hour of putting it in the tank. Now, two weeks later, I have about 20-30 baby snails developing on the back of the tank.
Also, the red bubble I saw looked like it went INTO the snail, and not OUT of the snail. I watched for a while to make sure.
Cool pic, Gordonious! I have a tiny hitchhiker featherduster no bigger than the tip of a pen. It was one of my first signs of life and I love it.

Sorry for bumping this, but I really want to know if I should do anything about these red bubbles. Today, with the regular lights on, I found 4 more of them. Anyone have a clue what they are?

Thanks slam308. That pic in a way landed me a job in a marine bio lab. I asked questions in school about it and bugged my profs about how I could identify it to species. They asked some people that worked in the marine bio lab that is part of my school and when they heard an undergrad was that curious they say they may have a position for me. BTW that feather duster is tiny as well. I got really lucky with that shot.
