Another stuck drive unit - Wavebox came with old drive unit?

I took my wavebox apart for some maintenance even though it was performing fine except for the occasional alarm every now and then. Aparently I have the old drive unit in mine. I read in the sticky at the top that waveboxes were supposed to come with the new drive units. Is this not true? Regardless, all I did is take it out, wipe it down and clean all the parts and now the drive unit is stuck and I get a constant alarm... Do I have to send it in? Can I just drill it out myself and you can send a new drive unit?

You would have to send it in, drilling it out yourself is not recommended, one millimeter too far and it will ruin the motor. The new drive unit was just phased in in units produced after December. It is not all pros, they can be noisier in some circumstances.

Well I got about half the unit out (in pieces). Probably did more damage then good.. Just didn't want to be without another tunze for a few days... Guess I'll have to send it in. Hope you can still get it out after my hack job... Can you send me the address again? I wish I would have never taken the thing out in the first place....
