Another T5 Bulb selection thread

I am going to build a frag system made of 33 long tanks (48 x 12 footprint). I am contemplating using 4 or 2 bulbs on each tank.

I was thinking 2 would be fine because I can build eggcrate shelves to move corals higher up if needed.

Should I use 2 48" bulbs on each tank, or 4?

Also, if I decide 2 bulbs, which two?

I was thinking ATI Blue Plus and True Actinic....but I may be way off. If you only had 2 bulbs to combine, which two would they be?

And if you had four bulbs?

what are you planning on fragging? Sps would probably need 4 bulbs for fast growth. I would skip the actinic bulb and get another blue+ for more par. Actinic is more for the reefer to look at.

I'll be taking pictures of these frags to sell. I was thinking maybe one tank with 4 bulbs and the other with 2?

I will be fragging SPS as well

4 bulbs on each. 2 will not cut it. You won't have enough coverage nor will you find a good combo with only 2 bulbs.

4 bulbs is almost impossible to find a good combo, 2 is that much harder.

If you are set on 2 bulbs I would probably run an ATI Blue Plus and ATI Aquablue. It will be washed out and colors will suffer.

For 4 bulbs I would run 2 ATI Blue Plus, 1 KZ New Generation and 1 ATI Purple Plus.
