Another tang??

I presently have a 220 gallon mixed reef with the following fish:

Blue Face Angel
CBB
5 Lyretail Anthias
Regal Tang
2 Engineer Gobies

I would like to add another tang. I'm considering the following:

Sohal - absolutely beautiful, but I'd probably have to move it in a year or so,extremely aggressive
Naso - I've heard they often have a lot of personality, peaceful, but will get too big?
Powder Blue - stunning, hyper, ich magnet, aggressive
Powder Brown - hyper, ich magnet, good fit aggression wise with my other fish
Achilles - expensive, hyper, very difficult to keep alive

If I got a Power or Naso I could probably also put in a bristle type tang as well. I really like the idea of the Naso, if it has a personality. I once had a butterfly fish that acted like a dog. I really miss that fish!!

Any advice??

Thanks

I'd add a purple/kole and a powder brown tang. Sohal and naso get big and you already have a blue tang.

Nasos seem peaceful and personable based off of RC input. Although their max size is 18", I think they'd be fine on 220, and even a 180. As a related question, would two naso tangs (one blond naso, and one regular one) be able to coexist in either a 180 or 220? I'm pretty sure all bets are off when there's a conspecific or another exact species tang, but just wanted to confirm.

I believe a Naso sp. is too large for all but the biggest tanks. I don't know the dimensions of your 220, but I am assuming it is 6' in length. I wouldn't add one. Since you already have the copperband and regal tang, not to mention a blue face angel, I wouldn't be in such a hurry to add another larger fish.

I am not sure what the advice "go for it" is based on. No information has been provided up to this point at to amount of rockwork (Naso sp. are "pacing" species that need an open tank, whereas the other fish already in the tank enjoy plenty of hiding places with large amounts of live rock).

Some tangs seem to come down with ich easier than others. But, if the fish doesn't already have it, you QT and cure if needed, and your DT doesn't have it; then no fish will ever get this parasite. If fish are properly QTd, IMO & IME, then susceptibility shouldn't even be a consideration. BTW, have you considered a Purple Tang? magnificent & very hardy. Just aggressive enough and won't outgrow your tank.

+1, I wouldn't put a Naso in anything shorter than an 8' tank
