Another Thank you thread....

Just wanted to post and Thank Carrie (SSweet1) for all the bags of Frags she brought over after the meeting yesterday. She brought all of this in the middle of my moving into the new 75G tank from the 55G and she had no idea that I had the New HQI Halides and brought me a couple of SPS frags.

She must be Psychic!

Anyway, Thanks Carrie! I have that fish you wanted in the Fuge and he's yours first day I come that way.

Now back to watching the "Shimmer" effect for a while. It's hypnotizing. lol

ReefNeck, I recall when I first bought MHs about 6 years ago. The shimmering effects were awesome. I couldn't get over how nice it made the tank look. I had 4 maxijets in the tank and point the output on two of them upward toward the surface, which increased the shimmer. Now....6 years later, I still find myself standing in front of the tank enjoying the shimmer effect across everything.

btw: has the green starfish pulled through?

Just kidding. It really does add to the beauty of the tank. I never get tired of it.

I am loving the shimmer! I have 2 SEIO 820's in the tank Tunze Style and they are stirring the surface quite alot. Then the double return tubes from the Quiet One 3000. I think I'm going to cry when I turn the HQI's off and have to deal with just the T5 Actinics.

"Stubby" is still hanging in there. Louise makes sure he gets food of all types and he seems to eat alot. Once he grows his legs back we have a home for him. Can't keep him in our tanks since the Green Brittles are fish eaters but we have a friend that would love to have him once we get him healthy again.

Hahaha, My wife just said the same thing. I'm getting irritable and need to take my meds.
