anthias and carpet anemone

i want to get a "pair" of barlett anthias and I was wondering if anthias are prone to finding themselves caught in anemones. I have a gigantea.

I have a Lyretail anthias in a 40 breeder with a large gigantea and haddoni. They can learn to stay away. There's always that chance though. Just keep a peaceful tank and don't over stock.

I tend to keep clowns for my anemones,have both a gig and a haddoni,then two pairs of clownfishes in my tank to keep away any chances of other fishes getting caught. My bartletts tend to stay in the middle to the top of the tank,they know its an anemone and fishes are smarter than you think.

ive got a hoddoni in my tank and the only fish i seem to lose r the ones the scoot around like gobies and blennies.

ok this is what I thought..i have a dragonet in the tank but she knows to stay away. Unfortunately the first week my 10" bristle star was food for the nem....I couldnt believe it when I saw him throw it up.

When I had my Queens,I noticed they learned to stay awayThey didnt come close to them at all.Most fish can learn to stay away,its the new ones you kinda have to worrie about.

Ain't that the truth. A little trick you can use, at least with haddoni, is to pester the anemone until it retracts under the sand, right before adding any fish. This way the fish gets over the shock of being dumped into a new environment before the anemone comes back out.
