Is it OK to treat Bartlett Anthias with Cupramine? I have two medium size tangs that I removed from my DT to a 40 gallon QT. I plan to start a cupramine copper treatment for the next 6-8 week to remove ick as one of the tangs is showing signs.

Cupramine is one of the safest forms of copper. I would make sure that you add it slow and observe the fish real well. Not sure what your tank size is but whatever the dosing instructions are for you, break them into 4 doses and wait 48 hours or more between to make sure the fish are still eating and doing well with the copper. The instructions for cupramine I think are 16 drops per 10.5 gallons wait 48 hours then redose. If you have a 10 gallon tank I would add 8 drops wait 48 hours make sure fish are eating then another 8 drips and so on........Make sure you have carbon and or cuprisorb just incase you need to remove the copper. If you see the fish stop eating I would remove the copper and try another treatment. Good Luck
