Placing an order tonight at JLAquatics and need advice.

Wanting to know opinions on these anthias. Which would be easier and how many would you need to order? The tank is a 90 gallon.

Appreciate all input. Thanks

Lyretail is a lot easier. They eat anything. Dispar have small mouths so at first they may only eat cyclopeeze or other small foods. With any anthias 3 is a good number ime.

What other fish do you have? Dispars are more timid, while lyretails tend to be pretty boistrous.

I just got 10 dispars, like a week ago. I first got 6 but when I got home, they were so beautiful and they were eating and swimming around within minutes. So I went back and got another 4, they immediatly joined the others and they are now one big beautiful group.

Getting specimens that ;look like this is a major factor in being successful with them. They often come in starved.

I don't know, they always look like this in my lfs. They are the cheapest ones too, 3 for 30$

The picture was taken half an hour after adding them to the tank.

All 10

That's why I want em!!!!

I think the lyretails would be a better choice in that mix.[/QUOTE

Went with chromis because the lyretails were really small and they only had 3 females. Got the chromis for REAL cheap. Definitely trying the anthias as next and final fishes later on. Will the chromis and lyretails get on well?, because I really think it would be stunning. Cheers
