Anthias feeding question

Gives Bad Advice.
I did a Google search but could to be an answer. How often should I be feeding in an attempt to incite them to eat?

I started with rotifers. Haven't seen them eat but they're also very small. One small cube was defrosted in tank water and I've poured some into the tank twice today.

Haven't seen a feeding response but all four resplendent anthias in my QT are shoaling together in the current.

Anthias like to eat three times a day or more. Have you tried mysis or cyclops?
Most Anthias are planktivores and like to "snack" (eat is really not the right word) on small plankton organism or planktonic eggs all day long.
3 feedings would likely be the bare minimum, and only after they have acclimated to eat as much as possible each feeding.

My anthias get fed atleast 3 times a day. Just keep trying often but small ammounts of varied frozen foods.

Well, some fish like to eat/snack all day long small amounts and have to be trained to really stuff themselves during a limited number of feedings. Anthias definitely belong to that group.

Ok. So I've had them for about 7 hours. The frozen cyclops did it. 3 of four are eating. All four are active and swimming together. I'm excited. I'll continue on out with the cyclops for a week and bump up to some brine so they get accustomed to it for the display.

I feed three times a day (lyretail); Rod's reef, PE mysis, live brine, and Hikari S (male wouldnt touch it but the female does begrudgingly). The female also plucks pods out of the water and off the glass pretty much all day long. The male was lazier and would just gorge during feedings (he also died but that wasnt related).

Well, this is a hospital style QT. so, there aren't any pods. My concern is offering enough food while not trashing the water. I have prime on hand and also a 15gallon full of matched water. Would only have to drop temp since its in my garage and boiling.

Gonna be tough keeping the water quality up while feeding the gluttons (they act like groupers when it comes to eating) so definitely keep water on hand consistently.

I feed my female lyretail once a day, and she's doing well so far.

I've read that lyretails and bartletts don't need to eat as much.
