Anthias going downhill is it flukes?

I have a Sunburst Anthias that I've had for about two years now that stopped eating. The last few days he's been hiding either in the rocks or in the corner of the tank. Haven't really noticed many physical changes. He may have a slight bulging of the eyes but it's slight if at all. Only other thing I've noticed is white, stringy poop. No loss of color and no visible signs of damage/infection. I looked at him hiding in the tank tonight and he started swimming erratically.

I'm wondering if it could be a possible issue with flukes. I'm not too hopeful he'll make it but maybe it would be worth it to put him in a hospital tank with PraziPro...thoughts?

Possible it could be flukes, but I am leaning more towards possible internal parasite. Have you added anything to the tank lately?

Last fish I added was around Thanksgiving and it was a Blenny that went carpet surfing in the first 24 hours. I've had a wrasse in quarantine for the last couple of months and I have used the same cup that I fill with water and frozen food so there is certainly room for cross contamination.

I never treated the anthias for flukes initially. If it's an internal parasite is there any treatment I can do?

PraziPro would help if it is flukes.

An antibiotic may be required if it is something bacterial.

Copper may just make matters worse.

If it's bacterial he sure doesn't show any signs of it. No loss of color/spots/abrasions/lesions present. Just very lethargic and hangs out in the corner of the tank. Part of me wants to catch him and put him in a hospital tank with prazipro as a last ditch effort.

So last night I bought everything I need to set up a hospital tank (already have a quarantine tank going right now) so I caught the Anthias which was way to easy and added PraziPro in the 10 gallon tank. We will see if he pulls through.
