Anthias school, one is ill - question

I just got a small school of lyretail anthias (4)and I noticed that one has patches of roughed up scales, he is eating though. Is this something that can affect the other fish, should I try to remove it? All my other fish are doing great,(naso,purple tang,2 percula).
I believe the fish came like this as I just noticed and they were added yesterday.

Anthias have a Hiarchy among the school which is better that they are kept in larger schools rather than small ones to diffuse aggression, the roughed up missing scales are from fighting with the other anthias.

Thanks for the response. If that is the case, I am releived that it is not a contagious condition. Although, I do not want to watch him get beat to death. Do you have any suggestions.

Are you sure that the hurt Anthias is male? You should not keep two males in a tank, IMHO.
