Any acrylic builders around?

Does anyone help out by helping build acrylic tanks? We provide the food, drinks, and money and you provide the knowledge?

I could build a tank that size but I prefer to not do those size tanks. If you really want to build a tank like that I could offer you advice tell you what materials to buy and what type of glue to use. I wouldn't personally build it just for the liability reasons. I would build it for myself but that's because it if it fell apart at least it's in my house and not yours. Just so you know i have almost 20 years experience working with plastics and building tanks, sumps, reactors, and skimmers.

Would a tall skinny ATO res be something you could put together?

If you ask any of the reef club members who know me can vouch for my work.I was the guy who used to build the I-Tech skimmers.

I'm sorry to hijack this post, but I have been thinking about a custom acrylic sump for quite some time now and I see that there are some experts here that may be able to answer this one.

My stand sucks, since it is split in half. Therefore, I only have enough space to put a very small sump on the one side, while leaving the other side for all the crap that you need to keep the reef running.

My question is... Can I/someone here build an effective sump with the measurements below and will this even be worth the effort?

13" Wide X 10" Long x 28" High(This height leaves some room for the hoses, skimmer cup, etc.)
