Tank looks great you all did a great job. Looks like you have tons of corals in there. You will be fragging like crazy in no time. I love those corner tanks! They can really look great if done right and you all have done it perfect!
ROFL omg Chuck in a thong bikini!
Like Chuck says... you rock - Thanks Terry! Chuck and Jesse knew what they were doing, that's for sure. Seeing them in action I learned much about proper placement and I also learned that the epoxy and super glue gel effort sometimes takes a lot of patience - but it's all well worth it.
I don't know if you recognize any of the caps from the pics but the purple cap and one of the orange caps are ones that I bought from you a few months back. Thanks!
Thanks alot Cindy. Looking forward to seeing your new setup soon! How funny, I just searched on fraggle rock and sure enough, youtube and muppets!
Hey Chris how's them corals coloring up? Damn i swear as soon as we mounted some the colors just started to POP!
POP they did! All of the new corals are looking great. That ORA blue acro definitely likes the new home you gave it - blue as ever!
The before and after coral placement is 1,000x better!
Thanks Pete! Chuck is the expert for sure. I've heard great things about the TampaReefer and I can't wait to see your new mega tank build in person some day. That tank stand you're working on looks like quite the project!
All, Let me know what you guys think about these params for the new acros. The softies and brain coral like them the best and the new acro additions seem happy too but you never know. Temp 78-79, PH 8.4. 11dKH, MG 1350, Calcium 420. The apex is controlling the temp and ph/kalk stirrer adds. I also add full doses of Kent Coral-vite and half doses of Kent Iodide weekly (no Iodide test kit so I'm cautious here). Corals/fish are fed 3-4 servings of food a day consisting of Rod's Food, flakes, pellets, and whole freeze dried cyclop-eeze. The Santa Monica 100 ATS keeps the following at a solid 0 across the board (Ammonia at 0, Nitrates 0, Nitrites 0, and Phosphates 0).
Thanks,
Chris
