any burrowing Jawfish owners?

Got a blue spotted jawfish yesterday, hes found his den and is now going to town digging and spitting up sand, building.
Pretty much causing a nonstop sandstorm in my 125 gallon. ive moved the powerhead to different locations etc but nothing.
its still a newer tank so maybe the sand isnt as sticky yet.
Did anyone go through this, and will i just have to accept this as an everday thing?
thanks

Jawfish need rubble to build their dens. It is what do in the wild. Yours is looking to create a burrow, but cannot support it because of a lack of rubble. You will pretty much have sand blowing around all the time because the jawfish will continually try to dig with no avail.

Also, what temperature are you running the tank at? Blue spot jawfish like cold wate, like in the 60s or low 70s.

okay i bought him a bunch of rubble but today i noticed it wasnt enough,so ill chop up a bunch more.
the tank temp is 76. the guy i bought him from had 2 of them throughout his fish keeping years and all did good. he didnt even have a cover for each one as they were happy but recommended one anyways. he kept his temp at 77.
