Any experience with SRO 1000LSS

I'm thinking of picking this skimmer up. I have a trigger systems sump with limited space for a skimmer. I have a 105gallon tank. Currently running a ATI bubble master 160 but do to water level can't get it to skim right.

Any suggestions appreciated.

You need to use a platform to raise your skimmer height. Assuming you have height clearance.

I have this skimmer.
I have very limited space in my sump due to my newbie mistake when I started.
Built a stand out of acrylic using rods.
So detritus will not get trapped I used another reference for the height from a RC member and works well now.

I am running one now. PATENCE, PATENCE,PATENCE is what I have to say. Fought this skimmer with over flowing well over a week. Basically had to sit and watch skimmer how it would react to water levels and gate valve adjustment. My sump is not in a cabinet and when sitting and watching tv, I was able to see skimmer reacting and adjust accordingly

Currently skimmer sits at 7" of water

I am still dialing it down, every two days cup fills. I run it wet, small bioload, just two fish

REMEMBER PATENCE!!!!!
