any good durso plans? help please

guys i thought when i go back to lowes to get a T for the reactor i would get some pipe to finally shut my loud over flow up or as much as can be anyways.....anyhoo i think my bulkhead in the overflow box is 1" so i'd get 1 1/4 " to make it larger then the bulkhead and little pipe in there...anyways do ya guys have plans for a durso that works good,my wife doesnt mind the sound from the somewhat overflowing tub sound the tank makes but i do lol

Google Hofer Gurgle Busters, And you will have silent overflow after you make one of these. It only takes about 5.00 worth of PVC to make them.

Ive seen Bill build these and he's right they are quiet.

Ive got a pair of them as well on my tank. dead silent. and they take up veyr little room compared to the durso.

I've thought about building a herbie overflow would a gurgle buster be a better option

I have had a durso for years. love these. if I had them on my old tank I could have actually used the dual drains on the overflow.
