Any good free image compression software out there?

reefloverd1, congrats on getting your image to show up, but you've still got some extraneous codes in your post.

The basic concept is to get the url of your photo (http://photobucket.com/MyLogin/MyPhotoName.jpg for example) surrounded by IMG tags in your post. Probably the easiest way is to copy the IMG tag info from Photobucket and paste it directly into the text of your post.

Hope this helps.

help please,

I'm trying to figure out how to ad pics to my gallery. They are suppose to be 50kb or smaller but when i do that they end up this small. (first pic below) I've looked at other galleries and some people have pics that are higher than 50kb and up to 75kb, but even their small kb pics are still a good visual size, just with a small file size.

<a href="http://s91.photobucket.com/albums/k281/MatesonG/Fish%20Tank/?action=view&current=Sailfin.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k281/MatesonG/Fish%20Tank/Sailfin.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

Using photobucket will allow pictures to be bigger for direct links on threads and stuff, like this (pic below), but i want to be able to put at least a decent size pic in my gallery. what do i do? I'm using a mac, i have iphoto and photoshop cs4 everything just isn't working like i want it to.
