Ill second marks fish in the valley, its really not that far from pas, so long as you dont go during rush hour, I really feel he has the healthiest fish, in my earlier hobby days, fish from his shop would go striaght to the tank no quarantine never caught ich, it was after having this bad habit and choosing cheaper stores that i realised the difference.

hex1 sorry I could not catch which store you are talking about. That is my idea I want to have healthy LS and may pay little extra for them in the long run you lose that extra and more when you go cheap.

He's referring to my earlier suggestion of Mark's Tropical Fish in Studio City.

Also, my other suggestion, Vivid Aquarium, quarantines all fish (you can see the Q area in back) before selling. Good luck.

i really think you should check out RARE FISH in rowland heights. although it might be kinda far to drive (i live in temple city), you'll see some nice stuff in his front tank. it does have a lot of hair algae but the corals are JDM.
passion of the sea isn't what it use to be. before i bought a 3 head dendro from him for 70 bucks. now hes only into flower horns and doesn't turn on his lights as much. he has a website though its www.aquadesignz.com

Thanks bro.. i do agree with you that the coral selections have not been good due to 1. crazy electrc bills 2. lack of good quality corals imported 3. HOT SUMMER, I think these 3 factors really held the customers for saltwater/reef from buying during these month, since now its cooler, I will again improve on my saltwater selections

Belive it or not, but flowerhorns have hit the market again.. and i do agree that i have become one major store to carry them.
