Any good SW stores in Bradon? I might be heading that way tomorrow and was looking for some good stores to check out. I am looking for stores that carry corals.

TIA.

Corey

Aquarium Creations isn't on Parsons anymore. They moved a few years ago. The new location is on SR60 about a half-mile west of the Parsons and SR60 intersection.

btw, they have an awesome selection of fish, inverts, and tanks and the people are really cool. I haven't been there in a while, but the last time I was, their corals were limited and overpriced. I still think its a great store. That's where I started all this crazy saltwater stuff.

But

You would be better off going a little further to FAOIS

http://www.ichthythings.com/

If you call that a little out of the way from Brandon, then I hate to think what your idea is of a long way.

crosstown to downtown exit ..follow to signs that say 275 (i believe its ashley) take 275 south to airport/589/60. take 589 to hilsboro exit. take hilsboro to FAOIS. took this way from my place which is almost Valrico and got there in just under 40 mins

Go visit Life Oceanic in Apollo Beach, depending upon what you are looking for.

If you want to see a really wide variety of fish, inverts, LOTS of LR, and a cool setup it would be worht your time. They dont have their corals set up just yet, but they will be quickly forthcoming.

Shop over on Bloomingdale looked about 1/2 done last week when we were down buying bikes for the family. Aquarium Creations is always very helpful, but their stuff is pretty run of the mill as far as corals go.

FAOIS is by far the best coral place, but unless you are buying, that is a long drive to OOH and AAH.

went to the new Brandon store today. It is called "Aqua Star" owners were still stocking the shelves. place is super clean... fish looked happy but he didnt have a a lot of corals yet. had freshwater fish also... place has potential... I think he should get rid of all the FW stuff and stick to saltys
