Any ideas what is happening with my coral?

Had the coral for a week....doing fine...then looked at the back and this is what I saw!!!! Parameters are all in check...so just not sure. Any ideas are appreciated!!!!

which param's are you checking? Are those acans? hard to tell from photo. could be bleaching from too much light. I'd move it to a shaded area of the tank. Also that chunk missing... what are your tank inhabitants? perhaps someones nipping it?

Yeah the chunk missing is the part that worries me. Only have a yellow clown goby, green clown goby and two nassarius snails.

They are candy canes. Three heads...but the back one is the one that almost looks like the outside is gone and its just the skeleton.

other things to consider is what kind of lighting are you using, did you acclimate properly, what salinity level are you keeping, spike in temp, spike in pH?

Thanks for all the answers..was my lighting...fortunately got it over to a tank that would be better suited for it at this time!
