Male snowflakes tail stripe has turned silver:

No factors I have noticed that I could attribute the change to.

Not new to me.
It happens sometimes and is by my observation irreversible.
Some have it from early development and in that case it is almost always the last band to develop. Another cause can be medications.

The male of my percula pair has it too:

Fisheye actually has their "Dirty Snowflakes" which have this. Don't know anything about it though.

Thanks for the extra information, I started noticing some issues with coral so perhaps there is a correlation. He otherwise seems fine though so we will see. The pair regularly lay large clutches that he tends to so I will assume until I hear otherwise, that he is still healthy and in the meantime have a large water change planned (and will check out fisheye).
