Any interest in a group buy from Bulk Reef Supply?

You are welcome and thank you for you patience. Although most people were very prompt to give me the necessary information this time, getting reefers together for a group buy sometimes seems like herding cats.

I got the group buy invitation from Bulk Reef Supply. Did you all get the email?

The email gives you step-by-step direction on how to start your order. It says "once a year" and group buy ends "monday", but their website states "Group Buy is now available any time and as many times as your club would like to utilize it" and it is "for one week". Judging from the fact that their group buy requirements have changed recently, I suspect that their invitation letter needs updating.

The email also states "If there are members of your club that missed the initial sign up they are free to sign up at anytime before this coming Monday when the group buy will end". So if any of you reefers who missed the sign-up but wants to join in the group buy, just set up your account through their website and email andrew@reefchili.com so you can access the group buy price list.

Where along the way do you see if you are getting the discount? I have put some items in my cart (including DI resin and other stuff they package), but don't see a price difference. I emailed them directly to ensure I was on the list, but I've gotten no response yet.
 
Go to their website without logging in and check the prices. They have graduated prices based on the number of items you purchase. Now login and you will see one price, your discounted price.

Nope - I get one price in my cart and it's the low-quantity price. No adjustments. I can call Monday, I guess.
 
you have to pull up the BRS website on a different screen w/out logging in. on another screen, log in. this way you can compare prices.
 
I understood that when it was explained above. Tried it - there is no difference. I'll just call them tomorrow.
 
it worked for me, I already ordered and am supposed to get my order this week. call them tomorrow and I'm sure Andrew will get it straigtened out! good luck will!
 
to get the group buy discounts, you have to order by today I think:

ACCORDING TO ANDREW IN HIS EMAIL:
If there are members of your club that missed the initial sign up they are free to sign up at anytime before this coming Monday when the group buy will end. Our group buy’s only come once a year so be sure to let everyone know how good the deals are.
 
We need to clarify on the date, too, since our agreement and their website states that the duration is one week as I mentioned before.

I just talked with Andrew and he confirmed that our group buy is good through this Wednesday. He told me that he had been out of the office since Thursday and had not looked at his email yet. He will be reading his email and updating the account of those who joined late. He would like you to go ahead and email him anyway if your account has not been updated yet this morning.
