Any issues with iPhone 5?

Following along...I'm in the market as well and am having difficulty choosing between the IP5, the Razr Max HD and the Galaxy 3s.

My son just upgraded to the iPhone 5 . Very similar to the 4s , bigger screen, thinner. But he is having an issue with the home button , basically it works when it wants to. He is taking it to the Apple store to have then look at it.

I've always been against anything with an "I" in front of it. Only thing I've liked on them is the camera. From what I have heard the I-phone 5 isnt that great compared to the 4s. MANY complaints about the apple maps. Having to buy extra apple products to plug into my car seems to be annoying as well. I use a droid and the same usb charger plugs right into my CD player. Im not sure but i dont think the Iphone runs with the option to add an SD card either. If i were to get another phone right now it would probably be the galaxy s3 or note 2, or even possibly a new windows phone (havent tried one yet tho). Apple obviosuly gets first dibs at Apps though, but all in all dollar for dollar apple isn't the way to go in my opinion.

im thinking about getting an iphone 5. was thinking about getting the s3 but i just dont like the size seems to big to keep in my pocket. so ill probably end up getting the iphone 5 my family has the iphone and they seem to love it.

I had issues with my 4s initially but once that was fixed its been great. Even dropped it 20 feet out of a tree 2 weeks ago. Zero issues. I liked the droid OS but couldn't seem to get any durability or reliability beyond 6 months. I'm bunking my wife would do fine with the 4s but you know how it is with the latest and greatest. I had heard people weren't happy with them though.

I'm on my last one, the map fiasco is forcing me to switch, I cant bring myself to use it with this horrible map app

and dont try to tell me to use 3rd party, it does not work the same, and google maps in the browser is terrible

Droid tablet has been fantastic, my family 5, 12, and 2 adults use it daily. Zero issues. Almost a year of steady abuse

Upgraded to the 5, faster than my 4 and LOVE LTE(AT&T send me a nasty text that I am using to much data). Sold my 4 for about what the 5 cost so the upgrade was almost a wash.

I get the map app has some issues, for me, here in CNY it has been flawless. I'm on a 4S right now, waiting for the 5s next year :)

I haven't had any problems with the Map app, and I am also running on the 4S. I am hoping to get the 5 eventually, if not, I'll wait for the next one as Blurry stated. :D

Prolly like all the others where they just need time to fix all the bugs via OS updates/upgrades. Apple has always been solid in my experiences.

Yea ive seem some phones fall and shatter and some live to see another day, not sure why some break and some don't though. Another thing to htink about is if you already have an Iphone you more than likely have alot of things on your itunes account that will be basically stuck there forever with no hope of getting it onto another OS. If i had t get an iphone I would either just get the 4s or wait the short period of time until the 5s comes out. Im still hearing alot of good things about the windows phones though.

ive been with apple for a very long time i just recently switched to a s3 and wont look back unless apple comes out with a better phone. there are three good phones out there now th s3 the htc android pro and the htc one x all good phones with the android pro being the newest and the best

My wife's biggest complaint about her iPhone now is that Facebook freezes up. If that works for her, she'll have no complaints. The navi isn't something either of us uses very often.

The battery life on the 5 versus the 4 or 4S is significantly better. I don't get into the Apple versus Droid game... Nothing is perfect. I run Mac computers at my house it just makes sense to roll with an iPhone.
