Any jobs out there?

I'm getting laid off from Maytag on 11/30 and I've been trying to get a decent job in the meantime and it's tough out there. I'm an hour from DM and an hour from Iowa City. Willing to drive to either though. Anyone work for a company that's hiring.....looking for finance type of setting....credit, inside sales, collections and customer service experience.

Just thought I'd try....need to get something lined up so my wife and daughter (and tank inhabitans) can eat...

I checked my company's website and there doesn't seem to be any listings right now that fit what you are looking for. I'll keep an eye out though. We are always hiring temporary workers, might be something to hold you over until something more permenant comes up. Good luck!

Try Well's Fargo, there is lots of call center stuff for CSR's there. They have a lot of turn over because they get a lot of 20 year old kids that don't realize they need a job, because mommy and daddy still take care of them.

My wife started there 6 months ago and just keeps moving up steadily. PM me for more info.

I will keep an eye out for job openings where I work. Unfortunately we have a hiring freeze right now so we cant hire new people just yet, but I think thats going to be lifted soon.

Any of the insurance company's in Des Moines are always hiring.

No insurance experience unfortunately, I've tried Principal with no luck so far....it's getting to be nail biting time, only 2 weeks of paycheck left.
