Any Lfs Carry Sunburst Anthias?

It has died. At about 9:00pm lastnight. I will be calling at around 3:00pm when I get home and try to get some answers. Anyone that knows the owner of the store please let me know how he will deal with this. I have a feeling that the employees I spoke to were not truthfull in the fact that the fish was in there store for 3 weeks, or that it was eating. On close inspection this morning the stomach area was very pinched as if it hadnt eaten for a while.

Thanks all for the help, I went to check on it and the mouth was stuck wide open and its gills appeared to have stopped moving. I still have it in a Qt while im not home to see if it is still alive, but I highly doubt it. I will call them Ti, thanks for the help.
I guess the "You get what you pay for" theory really is true.
 
:( That's suck.. Did you test the water in your Q-tank? I just don't understand how it can die that fast..
The owner is very cool guy. I've never buy anything fish from him but I bought several corals and other stuffs from him since the Tunze group buy.
 
Oh yes, my water is directly from my Sps tank. I hope the owner can answer my questions, I wish I would have talked to him in the first place....
 
I'm in Manor too. I'm 5 blocks up on Avalon.

Well, I talked to the owner and he said he will give me another at a discounted wholesale price. He was very understanding and nice about the situation, so I think it is worth giving this store a second chance.

I'm sorry to hear it didn't make it. At least the store is working it out with you.

I was there yesterday and they just got a bunch of them in. I would buy one yet. I'd let them sit in the store for at least a week. It's kinda hit or miss with those.

they are definitly amazing fish tho

any chance they would discount if a bunch of us bought from them?
 
Discount? If you missed it everyone else in this thread already said that 30 bucks is a real good price compared to everywhere else. If you do a little searching online you will see that it is true. New Alameda has one in now that they want 40 for.
 
Just stopped into Atlantis today, they have a couple Sunbursts in too. Don't know how much they were, guess they haven't gotten around to marking the price.
