Any long term success with crinoids?

Man who sold the world
Hey all, anyone on here had any long term success with crinoids? I had one for around a year, but when I broke down the 33 long it was in I gave it to a buddy who's tank crashed several months later. I didn't feed anything but DT's, and kept xenia, zoas and gsp. Aquaclear 110 HOB, No skimmer, weekly 35% water changes. Two clowns, and a cleanup crew. I've been considering getting another one, but not so sure, given the poor track record, and the fact that they seem to have an unknown diet. Anyone on here have any success stories with them?

I keep and try to keep some rather uncommon critters in my tank, but I've never tried these. It will be interesting to see if anybody has had your kind of success.

I kept an unknown species (plain green in colour) when i was new to the hobby. It was a hitchhiker on some zoas and my lfs gave it to me as they knew i ran a natural system. Had it for 3 and a half years and it seemed to do well. Couldn't say why tbh as i didn't do anything particularly special, so it must have been a very hardy species. Not sure on the life expectancy of these but think it would have likely lived much longer in the wild.

A friend of mine kept trying these before i knew her and must have had a couple of dozen. She feeds everyfood available and has no trouble keeping nps corals but has still failed every time with these.

I'd check out the nps forum as i know there are a few who keep them on there successfully.
