any mertins keepers

hey guys. i got a chance to buy a mertins from a pretty good vendor. has all positive feed back. the color looks awesome just around the mouth. which is closed, it seems white. is this normal. i can send anyone a pic, dont know how to attach it here. thanks

I own a mertensii, what seems white? the mouth or the whole anemone? If you are talking about the mouth... Yeah, that is normal. You can post pictures using photobucket.com or imageshack.us

yeh, its just the area around the mouth. seems relly well colored otherwise. also looks attached well.

Mertensii anemones are really good at adapting to aquarium life. The only problems with them, is that they get huge. I hope you have a good sized aquarium for this beast. I love mine and like that it takes up a good portion of my live rock.
