I dont trust my LFS' RO/DI I dont think they ever change their filters or resins. I would be more than happy to pay average price of .45/gallon but I want it from a real reefer's RODI that I can trust, must have 0 TDS!

Anyone want to help me?

Most likely, your LFS is selling your RO water not RODI. I recommend you buy yourself an RODI system or go to different LFS and test their water. I have a TDS meter that you can borrow if you would like. I picked up a good RODI system on EBAY that was fairly inexpensive.

Look into buying for yourself. It can be used for drinking water as well as RO/DI for your tank. I would say I use about 46 gallons a week and so take that and multiply that by .45 cents = $20 and some change a month. With that in mind I save time and don't have to lug around jugs and so on to get my water. Most LFS sell RO water only.

I see you have a pico tank right now, so I could understand why it would be not in ur list of things to get. BUT i do see u have a 30g in the works... trust me. get it u wont regret it!

Got mine from www.airwaterice.com
Works great and I got mine for around 235 shipped which isnt bad IMO. It came with everything including a TDS meter which cost about 30 bucks. Get the 75gpd, it is the most effiecent.

I bought mine from a store on ebay.....nice unit

Thanks guys, I no longer have a Pico.
I went ahead and purchased a Typhoon III from air water ice. I got a refurbished unit for half off.

My fish store was selling RO/DI but I just didnt trust their resins and filters.. I think they go a long time w/o changing. Thanks for the help guys!
