Any news about the Nanostreams yet?

Threads like this just make you enjoy your job even more huh Roger? :hmm2: You are a good sport.

Cheers,

Clint

 I really don't understand the need to hurry up and wait, nobody has them yet and everybody worldwide will get them at about the same time. I can understand dealers being apprhensive to have long waiting lists that will innevitably get lost and then having the problem of people complaining about making a deposit with a delivery date that is not exactly certain. It is an uncomfortable situation for a dealer to be in.

still planning on a september release date for the smaller 2?

:blown: :fun2: :hammer: :uzi:

Is it wrong for me to ask for an update on the scheduled release date of a product I've been looking foreward to getting for months and am about to spend over $200 on?

Roger,

I know you haven't been able to test out all of the nano's yet, but I was wondering if you could possibly guess as to what my best bet would be with a 40br. I will upgrade to a 75 or 90 within a few years and would like to be able to continue using them, at least as supplementary flow.

Thanks a lot for your time.

Not IMO. I think he's just expressing annoyance at the fact their not available right now.

I saw one of these pumps on display at Marine Depot in Irvine,CA and wow, it is worth the wait! It's a lot smaller than I expected and the flow is beautiful. You guys have a winner here Roger! Time to start a new tank for me :)

On a separate thread, Roger indicated that for my tank, which is very similar to a 40 breeder in size (corner tank almost the same as 54 corner bowfront) 2 of the 6045s would be better than 2 of the 6025s. Because I have a strong return pump and a sandbed, I'm still not totally convinced and pre-ordering a pair of each to try them out. I'm betting that I'll be able to sell the pair I don't use very quickly due to the anticipated backorders.

I'd imagine that Roger would say use the 6045s at the least, or if you don't mind spending the bucks, a pair of the 6055s with a controller. Personally, picturing my old 40 breeder, I'd get the 6045s.

That is the only one in the US, it was a prototype and fit and finish will be better on the final production versions. They just sent me that one so we could test the range of operating voltages and make sure they were compatible with US power.

I was curious about this...will their be multicontrollers for the 6055 or will each have it's own?

The 6045 and 6025 won't run with the singlecontroller or multicontroller?

Would it be okay to run two on something like a Neptune Aquacontroller with "soft start" at 10 minute intervals?

you can do soft start with the AC? I am plannign to do 15 minute intervals with my AC III with a pair of 6045's.

No, only the 6055 is controllable, hence the higher price as it has built in electronics to allow this feature. I am not sure what the final word on the use of 6025 and 6045 with wavemakers will be, I would tentatively say a 15 minute interval will be the shortest and there will be some noise on start up.

Since I am not a Tunze stream user (yet) but looking at those sweet 6055 nanos as we speak, Roger can you please point me to an existing controller that could controll 3-4 of the 6055's?

It looks like a Tunze Multicontroller 7095 is able to controll 4 x 6055 Nanostreams, or do I need another device?
Also, is the Tunze Branch adapter 7094.34 neede with the 7095 to controll 4 streams?

Roger can you verify the above setup?
