Hey Roger,

Any talk of a Stream pump that is larger than the models currently available?

Model 6200- it is do out by years end and will produce about 5000gph. It is electronic and controllable and uses 65w.

Hmmm. Must save money for new Streams:D

Dear lord....wonder what the price point for that bad boy will be...$400...??

I heard rumor that they were going to be about $70.00 cheaper than the Tunze Streams already on the market.

Yes, and a new toy will be available to make them do something amazing but that will be next summer.

Awwww, see now that is just not nice!!!! Don't tease us like that!

I am sorry, I can't say more. Only that it is a new flow system we have been working on for about a year now. It will not replace standard Streams or powerheads but will exactly replicate the oceans flow patterns when used in combination with a more conventional flow device. It is a major breakthrough, I honestly think that this device will enable maintanence of many animals that were previously impossible. But, we have a few bugs to work out.

roger, can you tell us if this new device can be used with the multicontroller 7094?

It will have its own system but you will still need flow from a Stream or other powerheads. The 6200 can be used on a multicontroller or it can be used as part of this new system. They will not replace one another- you will need what we currently offer to go with this and then you will be able to have an exact replica of the ocean with all aspects of tides, surges, waves.

TEASE:mixed:

Let's ask Roger more questions and see what else he can tease us with:strooper:

Roger,

Let's say, hypothetically that you were going to design the primo, #1 best water motion simulation system in the world. Let's also say, hypothetically that you had the resources available to you to pull off the project. And let's say that, hypothecially you did not work for Tunze...

What, hypothecially would this water motion simulation system do?

:bounce2:

Hypothetically I can't tell you. I am sorry but believe me, this is no different an industry than making Coke or the Colonel Secret Recipe. Lot's of people would love to know and some would have a sinister intent. In May the whole world will find out, if I get permission to talk before than I will let you know. This is my last post on this thread, I am sorry.

i just reread this thread. im a little confused. so from what i get, this new system is something we will need to add in addition to what we currenty are using (i.e. 6100 + multicontroller)??

also, how much will this new device cost?

Sorry Roger...I was just giving you grief....Thanks for sharing the continued innovations of your company.

Mike

so how do you keep your sand bed in a tank using a 6200 and with the new system!!!!!

It's getting silly I have about 65 times flow in the tank so the sand ends up where ever the pumps like it, are we looking at no sand in the main tank with all these toys.

A pump that gives 5000 Gph at 65 watts wild
