Any news on the smaller collection cup for the 9002 nano skimmer?

I read in another threat that there was a smaller collection cup in the works for the 9002 nano skimmer. Do you have any updates to when that might be available?

Also, what are the dimensions of the current collection cup?

It will be some time, it is something we intend to do but it has turned out to be a real challenge to get a good skimmate quality and we need more time, I could say it is unlikely to be ready any time before late summer.

The current cup is 4.75" tall and about 3" in diameter

Ok, another question...I see that the overhall height is 13.3". Assuming that include the 4.75" collection cup, how deep can I submerge the body of the skimmer? The reason I ask is that the clearance between my canopy and water level is only 4.75", plus, I'm sure I'd need another 0.2" for clearance for the collection cup top. Can the bottom of the collection be submerged a bit, or does it have to sit out of the water?

I would hate to pass on this skimmer because of a fraction of an inch.

Ideally the skimmer is submerged 8", the range is 7-8.6" but at the deeper levels of submersion it is more likely to gurgle from taking in some water and can be harder to tune. The US pump has a bit more power than the 50Hz version so the depth needs to be a bit less to compensate.
