Any one hear of this?

I just witnessed my coral banded shrimp pull a hermit crap out of its shell and put it in its mouth. I ran and got the camera and got a photo but you cant tell from the photo and the shrimp when back behind the rocks. It was pretty darn cool.
 
If you have a pair they are less likely to attack other shrimp. I have both peps and skunks with my BC pair, no problems.

I'd never heard that but it seems to be true. I adopted a pair of CB in July. They hang out together and don't bother the peppermints or goby.

Several years ago I had an extra large coral banded for 2-3 years in a 75. I don't think I ever had any peppies then but he never bothered any small fish or the hermit.
