Any reefers near Staunton or Charlottesville?

There is a guy that came in PAW and was pretty knowledgeable about salt water. He was picking up some Orchid Dottybacks and was going to try breeding them. I think he said he was from Waynesboro, if I run into him again I'll try and get some info. I've heard there is a small store in Lexington to, I've never been there tho.
Yah I heard there was a store in Lexington too. My brother stoped there and said it was pretty nice. I live near Waynesboro but tell me, what's PAW? By the way, the store I go to the most is Pets and Pals but their prices are rather on the high side. When i'm ready to get some zoa frags, do you know anyone in your area that can sell me some?

Hey wav3form, If you get a chance make the trip to sjdyer place, He has a great tank and some great zoa's that I am sure he would sell to you. Plus if you are into sps I think that he has some of the largest sps corals in this area. Make the trip and you'll see.

I just recently moved to Waynesboro from Neptune Beach, Florida. I have found it hard to find LFS stores in this area. I recently have decided to set a tank up again and have been somewhat frustrated at the lack of sps and lps selections that the local stores provide. Anyone that can provide some ideas as to where to look would be greatly appreciated. Look forward to hearing from all of you! Thanks Tim.
Thanks for the invite sjdyer I will keep that in mind just let me know when it is convenient. I do happen to go through Richmond at least once a month for work reasons, I was wondering what are the names of stores worth checking out in that area? If anyone knows of any I would appreciate the info.

To tbw2499, did you go to the new pet shop near Martins? I wasn't too impressed with them but I haven't been there in a while. Maybe they have more choices now. Other than that place, pets and pals in staunton has a nice selection but their prices are typical. Cheap prices on tanks though. I hope you like the area, it's not very exciting here but nice scenery.

Was in Richmond yesterday and stopped by Atlantis, What a great LFS! Good selection and prices. Wish it was a litter closer though. I was really impressed with their tanks and even a dedicated Clam tank! I will have to get over there again with some money! If you havent been there it is worth checking out.

the dedicate clam tank was just installed last week. its SWEET. although the T5 lighting he put up over it sucks and distorts all of the color. marvin said he was going to change it to MH very soon, but just wanted to see what the T5's will do.
there are a couple reefers in the charlottesville area that mainly post over in the Richmond Club forum if anyone here is interested.
