Any such thing as too much flow/light for a BTA?

After posting another thread and considering everyones oppinions i have decided to purchase a GBTA. My only concern is now is whether or not i have too much light for a BTA?

4X54 T5's(daylight, 50/50, aqua, pure actinic) and i have just added a 48" sunpod(2 X 150HQI 14000k). as far as flow, i dont think i have too much now but i was defintely thinking of upgrading. is there any such thing as too much?

In my 120g I have 2 - 250W 10k's, 1 - 150W 20K, and 4 - VHO Actinics. So total I have around 1090 watts of lighting, and somewhere around 50-60x/hr, which is quite a bit of flow. Anyhow, my GBTA is front and cneter at the top of the tank, seemingly very happy, hasn't moved yet, but then the tank has only been up about 2 weeks.

while they can tolerate quite a bit of flow (and many times, they even prefer it), there is such a thing as too much. however, it can't be expressed as a turnover limit, but rather the velocity per unit area that will be the deciding factor. for example, I have an H. crispa (sebae) anemone that is generally said to prefer lower flow rates in 75x turnover.

i get your point. i dont think too much flow in my tank is an issue at this point but it is someting i wanted to upgrade because of dead spots in my tank. i guess i will just have to experiment and make sure the BTA doesnt a PH directly blasting and maybe play around with the timers a bit.
